Revealing Rockford’s Top Dining Spots That Are Criminally Underrated

Going out and having a good time with close friends is my specialty. Some of the best memories I have are going to a restaurant with family & friends, having a glass of wine (or two), and laughing until we're on the verge of tears.

I definitely don't get to do stuff like that often, but when I do I like to do it right. You need different spots for different occasions, so I'm going to share some of the most underrated spots.

I thought of two different kinds of spots; one for when you and a friend need to grab a quick lunch together OR when you and a group (or friend) want to go out for drinks and a nice dinner.

Either way, these are all based on my personal opinion... but you truly can't go wrong with them!

Top Dining Spots in Rockford That Everyone Needs to Check Out

Tower Kitchen & Bar - 416 S Main Street, Rockford, IL 61101

This is a kick back and dine kind of place. The drinks here are amazing, and I loved their pizza.

My favorite kinds of restaurants are where you can choose to dine in or out. And this one has that times 2! They have a rooftop restaurant and bar too, the only thing is the menu is limited.

Highly recommend this place!

Jason's Deli - 575 S Perryville Road, Rockford, IL 61108

I'm the girly who's obsessed with soup and sandwiches. And there have been many times when this place has refueled my soul... and that's just because of the soup and a chat with friends.

This place is so overthought, and it's slowly become one of my go-tos for lunch or to ordering out.

Alchemy at Adeen - 1902 Reid Farm, Rockford, IL 61107

This is another dine-in spot that needs to be talked about more. The food here is so good, the drinks are great and not to mention it's a beautiful place... because it quite literally overlooks a golf course.

The staff here was also very kind, so that only adds to the amazing experience. I'm only sad I hadn't heard of this place sooner!
