Fall’s Close When You Start Seeing This At Stores In Rockford

We may be in mid-August, but stores in the area are gearing up for fall.

Fall just may be my favorite of the seasons. I love the comfortable 50-60 degree temperatures, cute sweaters, the colors, Halloween and so much more.

Despite all that, there's one MAJOR tell-tale sign (at least for me) that stores are ready for fall. People have very mixed opinions on it and it seems to have weaseled its way into just about everything.

I went shopping at Target on East State Street maybe a week ago when I spotted my first sign of "fall" in the 815. Take a look!

Be as annoyed as you want, this put the biggest smile on my face. Pumpkin Spice is more than just flavor, I feel like it's a sensitive topic at this point hahaha! And yes, I'm on the side that loves a Pumpkin Spice flavored drink.

Velvet Robot in Rockford Officially Begins Serving Pumpkin Spice for the Season

Pumpkin Spice may be on shelves now, but places like Starbucks and Dunkin aren't set to begin serving until on or around August 24th.

BUT, one local shop is jumping into the fall fun early!

The second I saw Velvet Robot post this, I had to run and grab myself a drink and tell all of my coworkers about it haha! And yes, it was Divine.

Do I agree with all that's Pumpkin Spice flavored? No. You couldn't pay me to try Pumpkin Spice flavored Ramen. (yes, that was a legit thing last year here.)

BUT, I'm excited that the iconic coffee flavor is making its way to the area before fall is even here. And I'll say that with my chest!
