Chicago is known for its beautiful buildings and scenic views. On the other hand, it's also known for its very expensive cost of living.
I love looking at expensive places and dreaming of what life would be like if I were able to afford them. Rent and utility costs are through the roof, even for areas that are mediocre at best.
I was scrolling through TikTok when I saw what the inside of these famous apartments in Chicago looks like. I gasped looking through it - like I said, I love pretty homes and apartments.

What was so funny about this TikTok is so many people commented saying they thought the Marina City buildings were giant parking garages and not apartments. HAHA!
Maybe it's because I'm originally from Iowa, but I think they look like corn.

Now, mind you... I know in the title I said these apartments were shockingly affordable. I still grimaced seeing the pricing, but then I remembered that it's literally located in the heart of Chicago with easy access to everything.
A one-bed, one-bath unit costs $349,000 and is 725 square feet.
No, that's not cheap by any means. However, for Chicago it is. Look at the cool amenities they've got too!
