Living in Rockford is so much fun. Since moving here, I've met some truly incredible people.
Compared to where I grew up, there is so much to do here it's insane. The options for food, entertainment and activities are endless, at least in my opinion.

Things To Know Before Moving To Rockford, Illinois
I'll start with the major one I've come to learn to tolerate.
Rockfordians Are Crazy Drivers
If you're looking for a place where people drive 50 MPH in a 30 MPH speed zone, but take forever to merge to the point where you miss your turn... Rockford's the place for you.
People's driving here is insane. So brace yourself for learning how to deal with people's terrible driving choices.
Overwhelming Amounts of Food Options
We have so many amazing food options here, it's overwhelming! Between my friends and my coworkers, I'm always bickering with them about where we want to eat.
As someone who completely sucks at making decisions, adding more options to the menu doesn't make it easier! Haha.
People Give It A Bad Rap
Like I said, I love living in the 815. You guys truly have so much. And even since I've moved here, I've noticed many positive changes.
It makes me sad to hear people talk negatively about this place.
