The Illinois Conservation Foundation (ICF) is now accepting nominations for the 2025 class of the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame.

Since 2002, the Outdoor Hall of Fame has honored individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to conservation and outdoor recreation in Illinois' natural spaces.

Making a Lasting Impact Outdoors

From leading habitat restoration to mentoring generations of hunters and anglers, some of the past inductees of the Outdoor Hall of Fame have shown a deep commitment to preserving Illinois' environmental heritage.

According to the press release, the Hall of Fame honors those who have been champions for clean water initiatives, advanced wildlife stewardship, and increasing outdoor opportunities in Illinois communities.

Nominate a Local Hero Before July 15

If you know someone who deserves recognition for their contribution to Illinois' great outdoors, nominate them through July 15 for an opportunity to be selected for the prestigious Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame Gala this Spring.
