This is a weird one. A strange situation occurred at a suburban Chicago hotel bar where actress Tara Reid had been staying over the weekend, sending her to the hospital, according to multiple reports.

The incident happened in Rosemont, a town familiar to many of us in the Rockford area, where we've gone for concerts, shopping, and events. Reid, who we've seen in American Pie and recently in Sharknado, reportedly had gotten sick from drinking from a glass of wine she says was tampered with.

What Tara Reid Says Happened With Her Drink

According to TMZ, Reid had gone outside the hotel for a cigarette after ordering a drink at the bar. After returning, her wine glass had been covered with a napkin, something she says she didn't do herself. Reid removed the napkin, took a drink, and later became sick. She was eventually stretchered out of the hotel and taken to a local hospital.

What Police Found When They Arrived

Police were called to the scene, but there was no mention of drugging in the official report, and no charges have been filed.
