Illinois Karaoke Fans Compete for Spot on ByronFest Big Stage

ByronFest Idol Returns with Big Voices, Bigger Prizes
Local talent will be taking center stage during a series of karaoke-style competitions happening over the next couple of months.
The preliminary rounds of ByronFest Idol kicked off tonight (Thursday 5/8) at Legacy Bar in Stillman Valley, with three more opportunities coming up to qualify for the singing competition before the semi-finals on June 26.

- Neon Tiger - May 22
- The Cave - June 5
- Weezy's - June 19
Semi-finals of ByronFest Idol are set for June 26 at Uptown Lanes.
Participants can join for free, with no registration fee required to sing. You're encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes early, and participants will be selected in random order to perform at a preliminary event.
Two contestants from each qualifying round will move on to the semi-finals, along with two wildcard picks who "wow" the judges at any point in the competition.
Prizes and Big Performance Await Byron's Best Voices
Winners will take home big-time bragging rights and cash prizes! $300 for 1st Place, Second Place scores $200, and $100 for 3rd.
ByronFest 38 is July 11 through 13 in Downtown Byron, Illinois, and will also feature a Parade, 5K, Bags Tournament, and more live entertainment.
