
Popular Rockford Event Relocates to the Coronado This Summer
One of the most popular summer events in Rockford is changing scenery as they move from Davis Park to the Coronado Performing Arts Center.
2010 was an exciting year for Rockford because Friday night Flix officially kicked off for the very first time at Davis Park in downtown Rockford. Since then, it has been a popular gathering spot for families and friends when summer comes around.

Food trucks, fun activities for the kiddos, and finding the perfect seat to watch a free movie at Davis Park is what a lot of families look forward to at Friday Night Flix. Well, it was just announced that they'll be relocating since Davis Park is undergoing renovations right now.
Friday Night Flix in Rockford Shifts to the Coronado This Summer 2025
"While Davis Park is undergoing renovations, Friday Night Flix is moving down Main Street to the Coronado Theatre. Moviegoers will enjoy family friendly activities and food vendors before the movie plays on the big screen!"
The signs are up at the Coronado already, too! This is going to be so fun.
