Rockford Riverwalk
Along the western banks of the Rock River in Rockford's Museum Park, catch a great selfie along the Riverwalk.
Just a couple miles up the river and on the opposite side from the Riverwalk is where you'll find a few good men to be in your selfie.
The Rock Guardians
Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens
This next great selfie spot is along the same path as the Rock Guardians. Truthfully, you can't take a bad picture here.
If you're visiting around Christmas time, you definitely want to head down to the conservatory for the light display.
Rockford's Embassy Suites Hotel Rooftop
Just a couple of years ago, this selfie wasn't possible. The hotel and convention center is brand new and the rooftop bar is one very incredible view of Rockford.
If you move to the opposite side of the rooftop bar, you can get another great sight for a selfie in a photo, the Morgan Street Bridge.
Rockford's Murals Are Perfect Backdrops for Selfies
Over the last few years, the number of gorgeous murals around Rockford has really grown. Each, in its own unique way, provide an incredible background for your selfies.
You'll find this mural just of State St in downtown Rockford Between Jimmy Johns & Bath + Body Fusion.
This next mural is in the alley (off State St) between Wired Cafe and Altamore Law Offices.
This next downtown Rockford mural requires a little extra posing to pull of looking like you're riding the swing. Find this mural on State St across from Rockford Art Deli. If this is your first visit to Rockford, you should stop at the Deli for a t-shirt.
This next State St mural, also downtown, is on the front of The Office Niteclub.
This next mural is located at 603 W. State Street and features some of Rockford's most notable names.

This last mural from artist Vic Rivera is at the corner of South Main and Morgan streets. The girl in the mural is Vic's daughter, Mila Rose. Their family has been in the neighborhood for 50 years.
