You could easily bring your stuff to Goodwill or Salvation Army and call it a day, but sometimes we'd rather find more hyper-local thrift stores to help out.  I'm all about the Rockford Restore on Harrison Avenue and Carpenter's Corner, they're two thrift stores I find myself at most of the time!

I didn't know there were so many different kinds of secondhand stores that locals loved so much in the Rockford and surrounding areas.  Did you know there's a free shop that helps the community?  It's called A Mothers Love!  Many said after they have garage sales, they donate the items that don't sell to them.  A great idea, honestly!
