K-Brew on YouTube decided to investigate an abandoned rock quarry near Alton, Illinois. While it looks like they had a grand old time, you should never even think about going there yourself. Let these pictures be your adventure.

My dad used to work at a Missouri rock quarry a half century ago and he told me how difficult his typical day was. That doesn't even include the inherent danger that come with quarry work. I had a friend about 30 years ago who was working on a construction project when a dump truck drove by him and accidentally kicked up a huge rock that hit him in the head and cost him his life.

I do enjoy YouTubers like K-Brew who go explore interesting places like this, but I'd never do it myself in a million years and I don't recommend you try it either.
