I've never seen anything quite like this, so I understand why an Illinois man got the scare of his life when he suddenly saw something unexpected in a vault in an Illinois cemetery.

Middle Aged Bald Guy (which is a great name for a YouTube channel, btw) shared this interesting exploration of the Blackberry Cemetery in Elburn, Illinois. As he was walking past the graves, he saw this jarring image standing inside of a vault.

After a jolt of adrenaline shot through his veins thinking he was seeing a ghost, he walked closer and learned exactly what he was seeing.

A statue in a vault is quite unexpected, but it's quite a unique way to remember a family member.

The Blackberry Cemetery in Elburn, Illinois is one of the most historical in the state. The official website says it contains the final resting place of pioneers plus those who served in the war of 1812 and the Civil War, too.

If you decide to visit this Illinois cemetery to pay your respects and/or learn from the history of those who preceded you by a couple centuries, be aware of the vault with the statue. It's quite a sight for those that don't expect it.
