An adorable doggo in Rockford is looking for a fur-ever home after an isolated upbringing.

Having recently lost my childhood dog, I can tell you they're truly too good for this world. It puts an unreal level of sadness in my heart to hear stories about dogs (or any animal) being seriously neglected or mistreated.

That unfortunately is the case for this little furry friend, who's on a search to find a home where he can be a dog.

Foster Dog Up For Adoption in Rockford

I was scrolling on Facebook when I came across a story about this little guy named Danny, a purebred cavalier King Charles spaniel. Take a look at this guy, because I just wanna scoop him up and give him some hugs and cuddles.

He's a 14-pound and 3-4-year-old little four-legged piece of cuteness.

After living the majority of his life isolated and in a kennel at a puppy mill, it sounds like he needs an owner who can love him and be patient with him. If you have another dog, that's even better because he is the type that loves a companion!

It breaks my heart because he's still very much learning about what life as a dog is like. He sounds like a total sweetheart, he just needs to be surrounded by good people to help him get through it.

If you or anyone you know could be the perfect fit, you can fill out an application HERE. I sincerely hope we can find this little guy the absolute best home for him to have a long, happy life!
